Why is there a Notice?

proposed Settlement in this class action lawsuit. You have the right to
understand the terms of the Settlement, as well as your rights and options,
before the Court decides whether to grant final approval.

The Notice explains the nature of the lawsuit, the terms of the

What is this lawsuit about?

The lawsuit is known as Marino, et al. v. Mullinax Ford of Central Florida
Inc., No. 2026-CA-004289-O, pending in the Circuit Court of the Ninth Judicial
Circuit in and for Orange County, Florida (the “Action”).

The Plaintiffs who brought this class action lawsuit are Debra Marino, Myra
Reames-Clevenger, and Shirley Rohr. The Court has appointed Debra Marino, Myra
Reames-Clevenger, and Shirley Rohr as Class Representatives to represent the
Settlement Class.

The lawsuit was brought against Mullinax Ford of Central Florida,
Inc. relating to the December 2025 Data Incident, in which unauthorized threat
actors accessed Defendant’s computer network and allegedly gained access to the
Private Information of Plaintiffs and the Settlement Class.

Private Information includes full names, addresses, dates of birth, Social
Security numbers, financial information, and driver’s license or state
identification information.

In a class action lawsuit, one or more individuals (called the “Plaintiffs”
or “Named Plaintiffs”) bring claims on behalf of a larger group of people who
have similar claims (the “Settlement Class” or “Settlement Class Members”). The
Court resolves the claims for all Settlement Class Members, except for those who
choose to exclude themselves from (or “opt-out [faqs?id=18]” of) the Settlement
Class. Under the Settlement, “Settlement Class Members” refers to individuals

The Plaintiffs and Defendant disagree about the legal claims in this Action. The
Action has not gone to trial, and the Court has not decided in favor of either
the Plaintiffs or the Defendant. Instead, the Plaintiffs and Defendant
(collectively, the “Parties”) agreed to settle the Action after considering the
risks, costs, and uncertainties of continued litigation.

The Settlement Class includes the 4,038 United States citizens whose Private
Information was allegedly compromised in the Data Incident discovered by
Defendant in February 2026, as alleged in Plaintiffs’ Amended Class Action

the purported Data Incident from the Defendant.

Notice [important-documents] of this Settlement was mailed to individuals
identified as Settlement Class Members based on information in Defendant’s
records.
